All competitors, crew, parents / guardians and officials are advised that drug testing may take place in accordance with AMCA’s Anti-Doping Policy, 

When drug testing takes place, the payment of prize money may be delayed, at the discretion of AMCA, until the results of the tests are known.

Anti-Doping Policy

1. Purpose
The AMCA is committed to promoting fair competition, rider safety, and integrity within the sport of motorcycling. This Anti-Doping Policy aims to prevent the use of prohibited substances and methods that may enhance performance or compromise safety.

2. Scope
This policy applies to all riders, officials, and participants involved in AMCA-sanctioned events and activities.

3. Prohibited Substances and Methods
The use, possession, distribution, or administration of any performance-enhancing or prohibited substances is strictly forbidden. This includes substances that:

Enhance performance unfairly
Impair judgment or reaction time
Pose a risk to rider or public safety

4. Testing Procedures

Drug and alcohol testing may be conducted at any AMCA-sanctioned event.
Testing may be random, targeted, or conducted following an incident.
Testing may be carried out by qualified medical professionals, within the confines of applicable laws and regulations.
Participants must comply with all testing procedures when requested.

5. Participant Responsibilities
All participants are responsible for:

Ensuring that no prohibited substances enter their system
Complying with testing requests promptly
Providing accurate and honest information during any testing or investigation

6. Violations
A violation of this policy includes, but is not limited to:

Refusal or failure to submit to testing
Tampering with or attempting to alter test results
Possession or use of prohibited substances

7. Consequences
Any breach of this policy may result in disciplinary action, including:

Disqualification from events
Suspension or ban from AMCA competitions
Loss of titles, awards, or rankings

8. Appeals
Participants have the right to appeal any disciplinary decision. Appeals must be submitted in writing within a specified timeframe as determined by AMCA regulations.

9. Review and Updates
This policy will be reviewed periodically to ensure alignment with current laws, medical standards, and best practices in sport.
