AMCA Code of Conduct
Purpose
The Australian Motorcycling Competitions Association (AMCA) promotes a safe, fair, and inclusive environment for all riders, crew, officials, volunteers, and spectators. This Code of Conduct outlines the expected behaviours at all AMCA-sanctioned events.

Standards of Behaviour
1. Respect & Sportsmanship

Treat others with dignity, fairness, and respect.

Show sportsmanship at all times, regardless of results.

Avoid abusive, threatening, or discriminatory conduct.
2. Safety First
-
Follow all AMCA rules, procedures, and instructions.

Always wear approved safety equipment.
-
Report hazards or unsafe behaviour to officials immediately.
3. Fair Competition
-
Compete within the rules and spirit of fair play.
-
No deliberate endangerment or cheating.

Crews must not provide prohibited assistance during races.
4. Alcohol, Drugs & Behaviour

No alcohol or drug use by riders/crew before or during competition.
-
Anyone under the influence will be removed.
5. Officials & Volunteers
-
Respect and follow directions of officials and marshals.

Abusive behaviour will not be tolerated.

Volunteers must be recognised and supported.
6. Crew Responsibilities
-
Stay in designated areas and follow pit rules.
-
Crew misconduct may result in penalties for their rider.
7. Spectator Responsibilities

Stay clear of restricted zones.

Show positive support for all riders.

Respect camping, noise, and waste rules.
8. Child Protection & Family Environment

Children must be supervised by guardians.

Bullying or unsafe conduct toward juniors will not be tolerated.

Promote a safe, family-friendly environment.
9. Social Media & Public Representation

Use social media positively to promote AMCA, its members and the sport.
-
Do not post defamatory, offensive, or misleading material.

Concerns should be raised through official channels.
10. Consequences of Misconduct
-
Warnings, penalties, or disqualification.
-
Removal from the venue.
-
Suspension or cancellation of AMCA membership/licence.
-
Referral to law enforcement if necessary.
