AMCA Bridging Licence ![]()
The AMCA is breaking down barriers with our brand-new Bridging Licence – giving more riders the freedom to race, connect, and enjoy the sport they love.
APRA-Approved Personal Accident Cover – All riders aged from 4 to 75 on a Bridging Licence are covered by the AMCA’s comprehensive APRA-backed personal accident insurance, giving peace of mind on and off the track.
No Red Tape – Already hold a current annual competition licence with another recognised motorcycling body? That’s all you need to qualify.
Access to All AMCA Sanctioned Events – Your Bridging Licence unlocks the gate to every AMCA event nationwide.
The AMCA accepts other licences as recognition of capability, however does not recognise insurance that is not APRA-approved. This means every qualifying Bridging Licence automatically carries the AMCA’s APRA-approved personal accident and public liability cover, providing secure protection for all involved.
This initiative is about encouraging participation, building inclusivity, and ensuring riders can focus on what matters most – racing, community, and the love of motorcycling.
Note: The Bridging Licence is only available to holders of current annual competition licences. Single event licencing remain unchanged.
Bridging licences do not accrue points or shown in the championship position in the Australian Hard Enduro Championship, a annual AMCA competition licence is required to gain points & championship positions.
With the AMCA Bridging Licence, we’re opening the gates wider than ever – because more riders on the line means bigger events, better racing, and stronger motorcycling in Australia.
Bridging licence costs are affordable & event specific, this means some clubs and promoters may choose to absorb the cost.
