DEJA VU

Two days. One mountain. No easy way through.

We revisited Kosciuszko Killer property for the final round of 2026, this is a two-day Hard Enduro event and a round of the Australian Hard Enduro Championship. Saturday's race sets the order. Sunday's main race decides who walks away with it.

Approximately 15km of track, arrowed and signposted, cutting through terrain that rewards the prepared and punishes everyone else.

THE CLASSES

Pick honestly. The mountain will sort out anyone who doesn't.

BRONZE — Entry Level

If you haven't ridden or raced Hard Enduro before, this is your class. It's manageable and fast, but still a genuine challenge, and you may not finish.

Bronze is where riders coming from MX or grass track backgrounds find their feet. You'll need solid enduro riding and technical skills, and good enduro racing experience with decent results is recommended. Bring a moderate level of physical fitness, mental stability, and the ability to deal with pain and endurance.

SILVER — The Step Up

Silver is where future Gold contenders sharpen up for the real thing, and where former Gold riders come for a realistic shot at finishing and having some fun doing it.

Most of the top Silver competitors are among the best riders in their state, with extensive riding and racing experience. The Silver trails are technically almost as difficult as Gold, but with less intensity and duration. You'll need Extreme Enduro experience, excellent physical fitness, mental stability, and pain tolerance, and the ability to maintain a fluent riding style in the most extreme sections.

GOLD — Impossible

For most riders in Australia, Gold means impossible to ride. Only a small group ever finish it.

You should be an experienced Hard Enduro rider with proven race results or a solid trials background. Your physical fitness, mental stability and ability to deal with pain should be world class. What we put in front of you will be unrideable for normal humans: extreme step sections, and insane climbs and descents. You'll need a consistent riding style when the terrain gives you no reason to have one.

All Gold entries are vetted by the race organiser.

WOMENS

The Womens class runs on the hierarchy system for the 2026 national rounds, with a minimum of one lap to be completed.

How the hierarchy works: Women can choose to ride in any class — Gold, Silver or Bronze. Results are determined by hierarchy: Gold beats Silver beats Bronze. Within each class, laps determine placing, but a rider in a higher class automatically places above anyone in a lower class. One lap in Gold beats five laps in Silver and twenty laps in Bronze.

Female competitors may compete in Bronze, Silver, Gold or the Womens class. Only the Womens class operates on the hierarchy system.

SUPER JUNIORS (8 to 12)

65cc to 85cc. A two-hour race on Saturday afternoon. Full details below.

JUNIORS (13 to under 16)

125cc to 300cc 2-stroke, and 100cc to 250cc 4-stroke. Juniors wishing to compete on a 300cc 2-stroke require individual endorsement.

For national championship rounds there is one Junior class only. No A or B grades.

E-MOTO

If entries exceed six, a class will be formed, E-Motos are scored separately and may establish a second pit area if required.

NEW FOR 2026: SUPER JUNIORS

Saturday afternoon, approximately 2:00pm to 4:00pm. Ages 8 to 12. 65cc to 85cc. (give or take a cc here or there, this is a fun event, no full sized bike)

The next generation gets its own race. A dedicated two-hour event for our youngest competitors, run on Saturday afternoon while the paddock is full and the crowd is watching.

Entry: $207 — a single event licence is included in this cost (plus third party charges).

Sign-in: Super Juniors can sign in Friday, or any time before midday Saturday.

This is where Hard Enduro careers start. If you've got a young rider ready to line up at a national event, this is the one to enter.

With an AMCA competition licence

• Juniors: $220

Without an AMCA licence (AMCA Membership only)

• The $77 licence fee is included in your entry. It appears like magic 😁

With an AMCA Bridging Licence

• Juniors: $235
• Seniors: $400

Super Juniors (8 to 12 years)

• Race entry: $207
• A single event licence is included in this cost (plus third party charges)

If you already hold a current annual competition licence with another recognised motorcycling body, you can secure an AMCA Bridging Licence. Bridging licences are valid for one event and are manually approved.

Bridging licence holders do not accrue points and do not appear in Australian Hard Enduro Championship standings. An annual AMCA competition licence is required to earn points and championship positions.

THE RACE WEEKEND

Friday Sign-in opens at midday and closes at 5pm. Competitors may arrive from Friday midday to set up camp.

Saturday Sign-in reopens Saturday morning. Race one runs Saturday and sets the start order for Sunday. The Super Juniors take the track in the afternoon, approximately 2:00pm to 4:00pm - Super Junior competitors must be signed in by midday Saturday at the latest, no prologue for Super Juniors.

Sunday The main race starts Sunday morning. Starting positions are determined by Saturday's prologue results, with competitors leaving in class order: Gold, Silver, Bronze.

Starting positions are signposted. All bikes must be on the start line in correct order by 8 :00am. Race start is 8:30am. Miss it and you start at the back of your class.

All competitors receive a transponder at sign-in at no charge.

Single event and Bridging licence holders do not register a race number. Numbers are allocated and issued at sign-on.

Final instructions are sent via the Member Jungle app chat approximately two weeks before race start.

THE TRACK

The main track is Bronze level, with Gold and Silver splits.

The track is well arrowed and well signposted. Navigation is part of racing. Ride the wrong track and that's on you.

Track length is approximately 15km.

RACE NUMBERS

Race numbers may be secured HERE.

Single event and Bridging licence holders do not register a number.

All competitors must fit three number plates: one front, one on each side.

• Front plate figures must be clearly visible at 20 metres with a solid 10mm border.
• Advertising is permitted on all machines but must sit at least 25mm clear of the number plate background and the rider's name, separated by a gap or a contrasting colour strip, unless the advertising is an integral part of the back-plate cover.

CAMPING

Arrive from Friday midday. Leave Monday morning if you like.

• Access is good for caravans and motorhomes
• Toilets on site. No showers.
• Camping fee is $20 per car, cash only, donated in full to the landowner
• Catering and coffee onsite all day Saturday and Sunday for breakfast, lunch and dinner (excluding Sunday dinner)
• A competitor's crew may consist of the competitor plus two others aged over 18. Minors may attend with a guardian or parent and are not counted in crew numbers.

Noise: A strict no-noise rule applies from 9:00pm. Competitors spend months training and thousands of dollars preparing for a national event. We owe it to each other to make sure nobody's race is ruined by loud music or generators.

Starting or revving a bike after 6pm will see the person responsible removed from the property and their AMCA licence or membership revoked, with no refund.

No bikes are to be ridden in the general paddock area except when travelling to and from the racetrack for race start and race end. Ride in first gear at a slow pace.

Please take all rubbish with you and leave the property clean.

FIRE AND FUEL

• During the race period, refuelling must take place only in the allocated pit area. Refuelling outside it results in disqualification.
• The promoter supplies 2 x suitable fire extinguishers for the pit area for internal combustion machines.
• Competitors on E-Motos who are not competing in the E-Moto series must supply their own suitable extinguisher. No extinguisher, no race.
• Any E-Moto competitor in the AHEC is not permitted to set up an additional pit or enter the additional E-Moto series pit area.
• E-Motos must be charged away from the campground.
• All competitors must have a suitable fire extinguisher at their camp, kept visible.
• Solid campfires will only be permitted subject to local conditions, CFA advice and landowner consent. This will be advised closer to the event.
• Anyone attending is responsible for their own campfire. All fires must be contained. Charcoal and gas cookers are permitted.

ATTENDING THE EVENT

Pit crew must register via our website and present their registration through the Member Jungle app on entry for E-sign-in. There are no exceptions. This is an insurance requirement.

• All minors must be supervised by a guardian or parent at all times.
• No person other than the competitor or an adult crew member may enter the pit area at any time, or come within 6 metres of the edge of the racetrack.
• Anyone closer than 6 metres to the track edge is trespassing.
• Anyone attending who has not registered is trespassing.
