✅ How to Attend an AMCA Event

Anyone wishing to attend an event sanctioned by the Australian Motorcycling Competition Association (AMCA) must first hold a

This includes:

• Competitors

• Spectators (when required)

• Pit Crew

• Volunteers

• Media personnel

🚨 No AMCA Membership = No Entry. This requirement ensures safety, insurance compliance, and participant accountability for all event attendees.

STEP 1: Create a Free AMCA Account

Before doing anything else, you’ll need to sign up for a free AMCA Membership account.

This membership is not just for competitors—it is mandatory for:

• Partners and family members attending with a rider (must arrive in the same vehicle)

• Pit crew

• Spectators

• Media and volunteers

The sign-up process includes:

• Agreeing to a waiver of liability

• Accepting the event participation terms

• Creating a profile to manage your licences and event access

🎯 Why? Motorsport is classified as a dangerous recreational activity. By securing a membership, you acknowledge the risks involved and help protect clubs, venues, promoters, and yourself.

🔹 STEP 2: Choose Your Role and Take the Right Next Step

After activating your AMCA Membership, follow the pathway that suits your reason for attending:

🏁 If You’re Racing

You must hold a valid Race Licence, available through the Licensing section.
Licensing options may vary based on event type and competition level.

🔧 If You’re Pit Crew

You’ll need to:

• Purchase Pit Crew Tickets via the Events page

👀 If You’re Spectating

Spectator tickets must be purchased through the Events page.

❗ Important: Not all events are open to spectators. If spectator tickets aren’t listed on the event page, that event is not open to the public.

🙋 Volunteering

Contact the Event Organiser directly to express your interest.
Most clubs welcome volunteers, but roles may vary per event (flag marshal, check-in support, etc.).

📸 If You’re Media

Register for a Media Pass via the Media page.
All media applications are manually reviewed. 
Obtaining a media pass allows you access to areas that others are not permitted.

After activating your AMCA Membership, you can choose to upgrade or add specific licences, such as:

• Competition Licence (race)

• Single event Licence (where applicable)
